“I wanted to let you know all about how everything went…

Sands Resort and Spa in Mauritius was absolute Bliss! Exactly what we wanted for that part of the trip. We were so pleased we went with your recommendation because we walked along the beach at Flic en Flac and loved our resort the most, so you got that one spot on! Thank you! We arrived there at about 730am and they already had our room ready for us which was just fantastic. The buffet breakfasts and dinners were really good quality and offered a fantastic variety.

Next was your wonderful Cape Town – we fell in love!! Our only wish was that we had more time there! The hotel was lovely and the staff there really made our stay exceptional! They made reservations for us for dinner every night and we loved every recommendation they made. They also booked a hike up Table Mountain for us which was just incredible, one of the most memorable things we did. We did the day trip to dive with the great white sharks, unfortunately, the sharks had disappeared from the bay and we didn’t get to see any – just one of those things I guess and gives us a good reason to come back one day! 

Transfers to and from the airport were great, really friendly drivers and all to schedule.

 And last but not least, the true highlight of our whole year away from NZ – The Safari. From the first moment arriving at Skukuza we knew we were in for an unforgettable few days! Our driver and tracker – Raymond and Reckson were there to pick us up in their jeep. Arriving at the lodge was pure luxury. Amazing food (and lots of it!) served throughout our stay, the room was beautiful and being set next to the river was just the most amazing setting to relax in. We were fortunate to be surrounded by a pride of Lions on our first game drive! What an incredible experience!! We saw many leopards, elephants, rhino, the list goes on! We ticked off the big 5 and so much more. A dream come true.
